Fundraising for Democratic & progressive candidates

Down-ballot campaigns rarely lose on message. They lose on money.

We build the fundraising operation a first-time candidate can't build alone: your real donor universe, call sheets and scripts, ActBlue wired correctly, and the asks written and sent on a calendar.

Flat fee — never a percentage. Every dollar goes straight to your committee.

Election Day is away.

No retainers. No lock-in. You own your donor file.

The honest version

Nobody sells fundraising help at your level

If you're running for state house, county board, school board, or a judicial seat, here are your actual options.

Digital fundraising firms

$3,000+/mo

Built for campaigns with fifty thousand people on an email list. You have four hundred contacts in your phone. They know that, which is why they don't return the call.

Doing it yourself

Free, plus your life

ActBlue costs nothing to set up. Then it's 11pm, you've knocked doors since noon, and you're staring at a contact list trying to decide who you can ask for $250.

Us

Amoah Consulting Group

From $495

We build the list, set the ask amounts, write the scripts and the emails, and put a system around the part that actually raises the money. One flat fee, through Election Day.

Run the numbers

Ask every vendor to justify their fee. Including us.

A website is a cost you have to rationalize. Fundraising is arithmetic. Here's the arithmetic you should run before you hire anyone.

Our Fundraising Program, flat, through Election Day$995
Donors it would take at an average $75 gift to cover it14 people
Askable contacts a typical first-time candidate already has300–600
The question that mattersCan we find 14?

To be clear about what this is and isn't: that's illustrative arithmetic, not a projection, and certainly not a promise. Nobody can guarantee you a fundraising number — anyone who does is selling you something. What we can tell you honestly, on a fifteen-minute call and before you pay us anything, is whether we think your network can support the program. Sometimes the answer is no. We'll say so.

What we do

The fundraising operation, built and run for you

Down-ballot money comes overwhelmingly from direct asks to people who already know you. Almost nothing in campaign tech is built for that. This is.

Your donor universe

We work through what you already have — phone contacts, email, LinkedIn, alumni and professional networks, congregation, neighbors, former colleagues — and turn it into a tiered, scored list with a suggested ask beside every name. Most first-time candidates are sitting on hundreds of askable people and have never seen them in one place.

Call time that actually happens

Call sheets you can work from a car, a script for each donor tier, objection handling, a tracker that shows pledged versus collected, and a weekly rhythm so it gets done. This is the single highest-return hour in a down-ballot campaign and it's the one nobody sets up for you.

ActBlue, wired correctly

Contribution page built out properly, ask ladders tuned to your district's giving capacity, a recurring option, refcodes so you can see what's actually working, and a donate button everywhere it belongs. Funds flow donor → your committee. We never touch a contribution.

Email & text asks, written and sent

A real calendar of fundraising emails and compliant texts built around your moments — launch, reporting deadlines, an endorsement, an opponent's move, the closing stretch. Express written consent, clear opt-out, no purchased lists, and no fake deadlines.

Finance committee & house parties

Who to recruit, what to ask each of them to raise, and a complete event kit: invitation copy, RSVP page, run-of-show, the ask you make in the room, and the follow-up sequence that converts the maybes.

A calendar built on deadlines

Your reporting deadlines are the spine of a fundraising program — a public number is coming whether you're ready or not. We build the calendar backward from your filing dates so every push has a real reason behind it.

Who you're working with

I've been on the other side of this.

I've spent two decades in and around campaigns. I've volunteered on every Democratic presidential campaign since John Kerry, and I've worked races at every level — local, state, congressional, and gubernatorial. Alongside that I've built a career across finance, technology, and healthcare.

Here's what I keep seeing: there are extraordinary candidates who never get heard. And nine times out of ten, the thing that silenced them was money — not the message, not the work ethic, not the district.

The cruelty of it is that the money is usually there. It's sitting in a phone full of people who would give if they were asked well, at the right number, at the right moment. What's missing is the system to do the asking — and that system is the first thing a well-funded campaign buys and the last thing an underdog can afford.

So that's what we sell now. Not a percentage of your money, and not a retainer that outlives your race. A flat fee, a working fundraising operation, and a donor file that belongs to you forever.

I'm working to give underdogs a fighting chance.

Add anything you need

Priced separately so you only buy what your race calls for.

$795 Campaign website

Fast, mobile-first, built to convert a visitor into a donor or a volunteer. Live in about a week, with the proper disclaimer for your state. Included free in the Sprint.

$795 GOTV kit

The final push: volunteer recruitment, shift scheduling, reminder texts, and closing content for the last two weeks.

$129/mo Officeholder plan

After you win. Site stays live and current, monthly constituent content, and your donor file kept warm for the next cycle. Starts after the general.

How you pay for it

A $199 deposit starts the work. The balance comes due as you raise — because asking a candidate to pay for a fundraising program out of an account that hasn't been fundraised yet is exactly the trap we're trying to get you out of.

Long-shot discount — 50% off any package

If you're running where the Democratic nominee got under 40% last cycle, you get half off. Someone has to run in these districts, and they shouldn't have to do it alone. This is a published, uniform policy applied to every candidate who qualifies — not a case-by-case favor.

Always included

Three promises we put in writing

We never take a percentage

Flat fee, always. Commission-based fundraising is treated as unethical across the political consulting industry for a good reason: the moment a vendor's pay is tied to your receipts, their advice stops being about your race. And we never touch a contribution — every dollar moves from your donor directly to your committee's own ActBlue. We're a vendor, not a committee.

You own everything

Your domain, your website, your email list, and above all your donor file — all in your name. If you leave, you take every bit of it with you and we'll help you move it. Holding a candidate's donor data hostage is the dirtiest practice in political tech. We don't do it.

We don't make things up

No invented endorsements. No "your gift will be 5x-matched" when nothing is matched. No countdown to a deadline that isn't real. Manufactured urgency is the standard in political fundraising, and it burns out the small list you're trying to build. Everything that goes out under your name is true.

And here's what we don't do: we don't do direct mail, TV, polling, field operations, PAC or major-donor lobbying, or treasurer and compliance filing. We'll happily point you to someone good.

How it works

Raising inside of two weeks

You're already stretched. This is designed to take almost none of your time.

1

A 15-minute call

Your race, your district, your network, and an honest read on whether we can help. No pitch deck.

2

Your contacts

You export your phone contacts and email and answer a short intake. About thirty minutes of your time, once.

3

The program goes live

Donor universe scored, call sheets in your hand, ActBlue tuned, first ask out the door — usually inside a week.

4

We run it

Asks, events, tracking, and the weekly rhythm — all the way through Election Day.

The money you don't ask for doesn't come back.

Every week without a real fundraising operation is a week of donations that go to someone else's campaign. Fifteen minutes, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
